Two-Sided Byzantine Pilgrim’s Cross with Christ on one side and the Virgin Orans (Mary) on the other. The Virgin Orans is a 12th C. Orthodox Christian depiction of the Virgin Mary in prayer with extended arms. She is depicted on the ceiling of the Saint Sophia Cathedral at Kiev in the Ukraine.
