Description
In Nordic art designs, when an eagle or bird of prey has its beak touching its foot it is asleep. A word of caution – when an eagle’s head is not touching its foot it is awake.
This bird of prey/eagle is from the Germanic iron Age, ~700 CE and was found at Bejsebakken in Alborg Denmark.
