Description
Lunula were popular with women and girls in Eastern and Slavic society to ward off the evil eye. While it may still be useful for that purpose, but it remains a woman’s charm for protection, good health and good fortune.
Originally a strong Roman women’s symbol, Lunula were carried north into the Slavic and Baltic lands of the Rus. ~11th – 12th C.
