Description
Copy Midgaard Serpent Brooch – this represents the Midgaard Serpent that is wrapped around the roots of the World Tree, Yggdrasil. As it gnaws away the roots of the tree it counts down the days until Ragnarök, the end of time. So why are there two serpents you may ask, I suspect there are two serpents to balance the design. Original currently in the Norwegian National Museum in Oslo.
