In Norse mythology, Freyja (Old Norse the “Lady”) is a goddess associated with love, beauty, fertility, gold, war, and death. Freyja owns the necklace magic Brísingamen, rides a chariot pulled by a team of cats making her a true cat herder. This pendent represents Freya in the form of a Valkyrie since one of her duties is to gather warriors for the final battle at Ragnarök.
