Thor’s hammers have been found everywhere Scandinavians lived and traveled. The original of this slender hammer was found in Lancashire England in the area known as the Dane Law. The eastern portion of England was once part of the Danish kingdom under king Knut. Eventually the Saxon kings pushed the Danish armies out, but by then many Danes had taken up homes and became part of the mix of people we now call English.
