Description
This Thor’s Hammer was found near Romerdale, on the island of Bornholm, Denmark, ca 960. A Thor’s Hammer came to represent the old ways of honor, devotion, loyalty and resistance to changes overtaking the Viking way of life in the latter part of the Viking Age. The original of this iconic hammer is in the Danish National Museum, Copenhagen.
