Description
The Wolf Cross found on Iceland, ca 900-1000 is a Sami cross, not a Thor’s hammer. It is unique to Iceland though the original artifact this is based on was found near Vaalse, Falster Denmark . The cross design is reported to be similar to ones produced by Sami people in northern Norway and crosses of similar design were found near a Sami settlements in northern Iceland.
